What courses have good value green fees or special offers. Im from Carlow but usually drive down to Scarke as its only €18 a round. Most of the courses around me are €40, rising to €90 on some like Carlow towns course. I usually play during the week.

It was talked a little about last week in this thread

Would be good to make a list of them all. Nearly every club is offering some kind of deal weekdays before 10am

Plenty of clubs have open singles on during the week in summer which are great value and a chance of a prize too. Gowran Park is on Thursday... Castlecomer Thursdays too, Kilkenny have busy one on the first Wednesday of every month... not sure of costs but in the 20-25 region.

Come West I say. There is an open day in Gort for €15 on Mondays, Castlebar for €15 on Tuesdays, Tuam for €15 on Wednesdays, Claremorris for €15 on Thursdays and Mountbellew for €15 on Fridays. A week's golf for €75 which is not bad.
