    when. where. who.

where - the palace was a good starting place.
who - we just need people to come.
when - which leads to when. when?

open to all boardsies, zombie forum or just general like minded people. also, we need some plans other than turn up and talk, get some drinkin games goin or a scenario thing or somethin. i dunno. oh and all my pictures from the last one [well, the ah beers] are all blurry.

curse you, alcohol!but i love you really.

Arran Islands, the ultimate zombie reccie mission. We can chat to the locals, gather intel on the island and begin planning the Islands transition from tourist trap to stronghold.

Should the outbreak happen during the meet up we'll also be safe.

Did you spend you whole time there in a constant state of readiness, prepared for the first sign of an outbreak?

I'm just back from the continent as well, I would have been on tender hooks the whole time had I not been in Amsterdam and completely baked 99% of the time. I did finally get to read the survival guide, which got me some strange looks on the train one time.

my friend! we are now brothers! :P
I read the guide while I was away too and to be honest I actually was completely prepped while I was away I was in an apartment thats front door was made of 4 inches of steel on the 2nd floor and no other accompanying apartments, as well as that I had already planned an escape route :D

Lol.. I was staying in hostels so I knew I was completely doomed should the worst happened, my only consolation was that I knew I'd go down in a blaze of spliffery.

Your going to leave the comfort of your hideaway? :pac: Wouldn't it be ironic if that's when the outbreak happens. :D

I'd recommend The Hop-House on Parnell Street. Pitchers and Pints with a great beer garden (short walls, easy to climb just in case) really friendly staff.

i'm 22. not mentally, of course. but then you're just lying to yourself if you think you're any older than 17 mentally, when you're in here.
    The hop House

also, woolshed, anyone? pitchers, booths [or big seating areas anyway],cinema next door for smileypaul's idea, etc. over 21's tho :/

This is what happens when you hold a meet up in a hot spot for zombie activity. Personally I won't go anywhere near a town with a population of more then 900 people.

    What a disaster!

Went up stairs wandering around for a bit, gave up and had a pint of ale on the middle bar. If anyone is wondering, I was wearing blue jeans and a harrington jacket.

Well, I suppose we'll learn from mistakes and not go to hotspots in the future. At least start in places that are smaller and easier to navigate.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,813 ✭✭✭BaconZombie

Kreig, I think you two left just as I turned up, so two people by the door when I walk in but when I got back from the bar you were gone.
I hung around till they turned up the lights and music, then headed to Fibbers.
