Sound goes choppy with VOIP programs

    Hi,

    I have an Audigy 2 ZS soundcard, recently the microphone port stopped working so I enabled the on board sound for the microphone. The mic is now working fine.

    I am also having a problem where if I talk to someone on a VOIP app (skype, msn, teamspeak, vent etc) they go very choppy after a few seconds and are completely distorted. I recently got a new router (Netgear) so I thought it might have been a lag problem related to this but I've done a VOIP online test and gotten 1.1ms jitter and 0% packet loss.

    All the other sound (winamp, system, games etc) work perfectly 100%.
