I know this sounds ridiculous but does anyone know what to put on an ant bite? Should I just put some Germoline or ice on it?

I was coming out of the shower and was wiping my eyes with a towel when suddenly I felt a sharp sting on my left eye (at the outer corner of the socket) . When I looked at the towel there was an ant! Anyway, it's is now red/purple and swelling a good bit. It looks like someone punched me.

Anyway, thanks if anyone can help me :o

Clean the bite with some antiseptic and put some ice on it to try and bring down the swelling. If it gets worse a trip to the doctor would be advisable.

This isnt medical advice, just common sense advice.

you can get a homeopathic remedy called Apis, Boots or most health food shops usually have them...works like a charm!

bear grylls says the ammonia in ur wee wee nuetralizes the posion from the bite so maybe try that!

But if its swollen alot it could be a nasty allergic reaction you should then seek medical advice.
