    Taking the Family by Train couldn't be Easier or Cheaper with the "Kid+" Family Ticket from Iarnród Éireann Booking Offices

    The Kid+ ticket is a discounted fare that will cover return rail travel for one or two adults and up to four children under sixteen years of age. At least one adult and one child must travel on this ticket.

    1) Family Day Return Tickets to/from Dublin Monday to Thursday and Saturdays between any two intercity stations the following Kid+ fares are available:

    Outward: to/from Belfast Sligo Mayo Galway Limerick
    Mon-Thurs & Sat €95.00 €74.00 €79.00 €73.50 €82.50

    Kerry Cork Waterford Wexford
    Mon-Thurs & Sat €105.00 €100.00 €69.50 €64.00

    2) The Kid+ family monthly ticket is valid for return travel within one month of the date issued on the ticket between any two intercity stations the following Kid+ fares are available :

    Outward: to/from Belfast Sligo Mayo Galway Limerick
    Monday-Sunday €140.00 €139.00 €140.00 €132.00 €132.00

    Outward: to/from Kerry Cork Waterford Wexford
    Monday-Sunday €140.00 €140.00 €122.00 €102.00

    Only one Kid+ ticket can be issued per travelling party These tickets are only available from all mainline Iarnród Éireann stations.

    Iarnród Éireann reserves the right not to sell these tickets on special event days or weekends during concerts, bank holidays, festivals, GAA Championship fixtures etc.

    Just turn up and go.

    **Anyone wishing to reserve a seat(s) on specific services whist travelling on a valid "Kids +" ticket may do so by purchasing a "Reserve Seat" per person/ €3 one-way/ €6 return.
