My son wants to order MUTV so he can watch the pre-season games (I know, I know, it's too late to offer him up for adoption ), so I was wondering if he can record the matches on the DVR and watch them when the rest of the family isn't watching the TV, or are premium channels blocked from being recorded?

Also, is there a minimum sub period for MUTV? Tried getting through to UPC (to ask them), but after 20 mins, still no answer.

I think once you're subscribed you can watch them. If you cancel the subscription you can't. I don't think there's a minimum term but there will be a €10 downgrade penalty fee if you cancel it.
