Not that it matters one jot who wins the last test except for player's pride. Who is left to pick from? Front row and centres especially.

Assuming both BOD and Roberts are unfit to play I suppose we will see Flutey and D'arcy in the center together. Vickery and Sheridan will prob make up the front row with Payne on the bench. Would love to see the bull there but think thats who the selectors will go with. Good chance of Earls getting a spot on the bench so maybe he will get his first Lions cap next week!!

    My €0.02...

    1. Sheridan
    2. Mears
    3. Vickery
    4. Shaw
    5. POC
    6. Croft
    7. M. Williams
    8. Heaslip
    9. Phillips
    10. Jones
    11. Fitz
    12. Hook
    13. Flutey
    14. Bowe
    15. Kearney

    16. Rees
    17. Payne
    18. DOC
    19. Wallace
    20. Blair
    21. D'Arcy
    22. S. Williams

Reckon this is what they'll go with, may have included one or two players who are actually injured (not sure about Bowe?). Earls might get on the bench ahead of Darce...

No cover for 10 on the bench though. Your mid field balance is all over the place though as theirs basically 3 player makers at 10 12 13 which never works. We could see Flutey 12 and Bowe at 13 or Earls or Fitz. Earls could possibly take a wing spot then if Bowe goes to centre or else you bring in Monye. But dear god Shane Williams should be sitting in the stands watching this one.

I put down the team I reckoned would be picked - its not the team I'd like to see picked. I'd love to see Darce in there but don't think McGeechan will pick him, think he'll give Flutey and Hook the nod. If Jones gets injured Hook moves to 10 and Darcy comes on at 12, if Hook gets injured its a straight swap.
I agree about Shane Williams but McGeechan seems to think he's going to pull a rabbit out of his arse any time now and score a hat trick or something, so I can see him in the 22 again. Hopefully Earls will get a shot.

There should be an investigation if Shane "How The **** Was I The IRB Player Of The Year?" Williams gets anywhere near that team.

D'Arcy & Earls in the centre for me, keep back 3 the same, start Hook at 10 if fit.

O'Callaghan or Jones should start ahead of O'Connell (who would have been well dropped by now if he wasn't captain), but obviously wont.

Williams at 7, lack of out and out 7 has hurt Lions, front row, I don't even know who's fit at this stage, all I know is it's fu*ked.

Ah here Jackass, time to get off the fence and tell us what you really think! :p

Why Hook BTW? Jones was pretty good on Sat, certainly proved why he was picked ahead of ROG

    I agree with Zzippy mate.

Why would you drop Wallace, Shaw and Stephen Jones?

Also, none of the oher second rows are better than POC. Alun Wyn Jones has been beyond sh1te on this tour.

The reason is simple, he was outstanding in the year in question and rightfully picked up the award. He's form has waned but the constant banging on is tiresome. Give it a rest.

Seriously Thomon, now you'r just desperate. Before that award he was easily the best winger and player and deserved the award. Out of curiosity before the award was given to him who would you have nominated?

God not Flutey he's been off form but as well as that he's looked scarily slow, I dont think he's fully recovered from that knee injury.

I'd Put wally at 6 and have Williams in there.
    Screw Croft.

He is probably gone off to google who was actually up for the award. See, for some people it's easier to just jump on a bandwagon rather than offer up their own opinions.

We hardly need two threads on the one topic :)

Couple of posts from here discussing the actual named team to the other thread.
