So my PCs current surround sound speakers are going the way of the Dodo and since Im holding off rig upgrades till i5, usb3 and DX11 cards I figured I pick up a decent set of speakers.

The logitech z5500 seem to have gotten good reviews but was wondering what boards folks though of em?

Also what sound card would ya pair em with?

They're a great set of speakers..use them myself.
I have mine paired with the Creative X-Fi Fata1ty as it has the front box with optical in as well.
I think the new X-FI Titaniums/Asus Xonar all come now with optical in/out on the card itself.
