Hi everyone - I have noticed a rattle which seemed to come from both the driver and passenger windows. Pushing the glass with my hand did not do anything to solve the problem. Winding down each window half way however stopped the rattle - not an ideal solution i know!!!. After trying to source a product named ' Gummi Pfledge' with no luck , i checked online and was told that this product was no longer stocked and was sold an alternative product called 'Carbaflo KSP 105' Part number: 83 23 0 309 627, problem is I cant seem to be able to find it anywhere , anyone be able to point me in the right direction? Called up my local delaership and they said they use silicon! Which cant be good for the rubber seals...

    thanks AA

Give the number to your dealer and they can get it. Carbaflo is what is used on squeeky windows now

The window regulator in the e46 can be fitted with anti-rattle clips, and adjusted also. I have to get herself's MINI Cabrio done which has pretty much the same mechanism apart from the size of it.
