    Mercedes claimed that while at the beginning of 2008 prices against the BMW 520d and Audi A6 would have read: E-Class €61k, BMW €54k and A6 €46k; they would now read Merc €43k, BMW €47k and Audi €42k. A massive turnaround in anyone's books
