    What I find is that heavily mastered records sound "raw." I don't know how to express it other than the fact that I get an image of red burn marks when I'm listening, everything sounds very tense and wound up. Kinda scratch my head wondering why this is so prevalent, market forces yadda yadda. It will be interesting to see how 00s records hold up 30 years from now.
