He clearly wants to learn from the best and we'd be happy to show him.
Ian McGeechan is considering a move to one of South Africa’s Super 14 teams.
McGeechan stood down as director of rugby at Wasps at the end of the northern hemisphere season and after the third Lions Test at Ellis Park, he will contemplate his future.
‘The only plan I have is to consider an offer to come back out to South Africa next year and have a coaching involvement in Super 14 rugby,’ the 62-year-old told the Guardian. ‘It would allow me to see the sport from a different angle. You never stop learning and my passion for rugby is as strong as ever.’
McGeechan also didn’t rule out being involved with the Lions on their tour of Australia in 2013, but said he would still have to be involved in the game to be a realistic candidate.
‘What I would say about the next coach is that he has to be involved at the sharp end of the game,’ he said. ‘I do not know what the future holds for me but if I wasn’t holding down a job in the professional game I wouldn’t be a contender. Even a year away means you become out of touch because rugby evolves so quickly.’

Doesn't that mean he'll be doing the teaching?

oh ok. He probably wants to join next year. Maybe it was just a thought he had. I've always liked the guy.
