Is the iRobot Roomba 560 as good as it sounds?

Hey all, Just wondering if the irobot is any good. What is good & bad about it? Does it need to be emptied often ect. I want it for a carpet and we have 2 dogs would I be better off with iRobot 110 Dirt Dog Workshop Robot? Does the iRobot 110 Dirt Dog Workshop Robot work on carpets? Thanks in advance!

My brother has one of these. He sets it to work as leaves the house in the morning and sets it to task either upstairs or downstairs. When he comes home the floors a clean and the iRobot is back in its dock. He uses it regularly (every couple of days) as it preforms much better because it doesn't fill up as quickly.
