You'll get one much cheaper online :) They're pretty fun once you get used to them. I have an Oktomat that I mess about with a bit. I've never really pushed it more than that though..

Yep, I have one. You can get the 'real' Diana's on eBay for about half the price, if not cheaper (Or you could in the past, anyways!).

The promises made on the www.lomography.com website are a bit hyped up - It's a nice little camera and all, but far from what's described on the site. If you've a hundred quid to blow, it's worth getting the Diana, flash and a few rolls of film. Bear in mind, developing/printing will be an extra cost too!

I do realise all of that sounds a bit negative, but they are capable of taking some lovely photographs. I'd advise the Diana over the Fisheye - it uses a bigger negative, and your not stuck with the fisheye effect the whole time (and you can buy a fisheye adapter for the Diana if needs be!)

Another alternative is getting an old fully manual camera, such as an old Canon or Nikon from the 70's/80's - You should be able to pick them up for about the same price.

If you're based in Dublin, pop into Gunns on Wexford St (Opposite Whelans/ish) for some film - You're looking for medium format film, 400 speed is usually a handy speed to start off with the Diana - It's a small friendly shop, if you ask for advice in there, they'll give you loads! :)

And they have Dianas for 49 quid if you can't wait for ebay ;)

As far as I can see, they only have Holga's, not Diana's
