    Hi All

I have a Renault Scenic RX4 and I am having 2 issues with the side panel on the door which is like a Giant Bumper ( Example see picture )

First issue is that the bumper is Deeply scraped About 1/2mm deep and 30 cm long . and there is about 5 of them which I want to remove and the second the Bumpers and Skirting is sun Bleached and I would like it Black again

If anyone has suggestions I would be greatful

Well something like back to black or even peanut butter will make them black again no problem. About repairing, maybe a trim repairer can fix it (like someone who fixes damaged dashboards and the like) but your best bit might be the scrappie.

www.traynors.co.uk would be your best bit as the RX-4 is very rare down here

Thats a fairly easy fix in a bodyshop. I've had lots of plastic panels repaired and its always less than the cost of a replacement panel. €40-€50ish IMO.

Thanks everyone . I have one more question . I need to get the drivers side Electric window fixed as the guide wires are snapped . Renault are charging me €450 for parts not including labour . Anyone know a place I can get it done for cheaper

Try these guys for the panel repair...dirt cheap 0879657350. Ask for Charlie or Shea. They're in Rathcoole village. And I'd ask the lads while you are there about the window aswell, I'd say they could sort you out.
