    Have old version of ipod touch and when i download apps in itunes i cant sync them, need some help lads. Thanks

    You need to upgrade to the newest firmware which is currently the just releases 3.0. It cost €8 for the upgrade but it'll let you install apps as well as a good few other features.

    I dunno if 2.0 is still available for download tbh?

    It costs the same price as 3.0 so you might as well go the whole way!

    Have my ipod touch jailbroke, would I lose everything when I fork out 8euros for upgrade? Is it worth up grading? I mainly use it for web browsing, music and watching odd video....

    i'm not entirely sure but i think you can jailbreak 3.0, i'm sticking with 2.1 myself til i can pick up an iPhone.

    It's not going to make a difference to your browsing, music, video playback, etc but you 'll be able to add 100's of apps.

    Best idea is probably look around the app store and see if there are any apps that you really feel you'd enjoy. Realistically it's only €8 and you do get a whole lot more functionality. It depends how much you use the device is suppose.
