Problem with Charger for Dell 1720

Hi just today my charge wouldn't charge my latop. the light on the charger doesnt light up when i plug it in and i can hear a buzzing sound from the charger does this mean its shagged? are these expensive to replace?

Is your laptop still under warranty? Dell should replace it for free if it is.

Otherwise, they're not too badly priced. About €20 on ebay. Do NOT buy one from hong kong. Or do so at your own risk

Quick search, and heres a UK one for a grand price

Before you do that though, check if its the fuse thats gone. Just pop open the cover for the fuse, and replace it, see if that solves your problem before you go spending €20 odd.
