I was wondering the same thing. I'm assuming that the ulster hurling championship is seperate from the All-ireland now so it's really just antrim playing in two seperate competitions at the same time.

Probably that and the weaker counties where added to it.

Anyway, Down put a good show.

Thats it. Antrim are competing in the All Ireland series and the Ulster Championship.

That was it. Apparently Down were in front but Antrim got 3 quick fire points in the last minute.

Great match lads, some great ground hurling and a good advocate for Ulster hurling.

    How did you see it?

I'd imagine Antrim had their reserves out.

This clearly contravenes rule 137bii. The Ulster council are aware and are in the process of eliminating Antrim from all competitions thus placing Cavan in the Ulster football final.

Antrim, like Galway, shouldn't be in the Leinster Hurling Championship. Antrim's next hurling opponents are Laois, and they aren't playing them in Leinster. Galway and Antrim played one match in Leinster, against teams they might have ended up playing anyway, so it is pointless. Antrim just have to play the final in Ulster. They should have to play the whole thing and leave Leinster to Leinster teams.
