spending no more than about 800-900 yoyo, what kind of spec am i going to get for this, will be my 3rd road bike, first was a 2nd hand dawes for £70punts, 2nd is an obrea, alu frame, 7 speed cassette (14 gears total), had for about 5 years, basically looking towards carbon, does not to be full carbon, just looking for something lighter than i already have, mate has a alu/carbon mix bianchi frame, 9 speed cassette, sweet ride, am i going to get anything like that in my price range

current riding style is short 20 mile spins in the week, up to 3 to 5 hr solo spins at the weekend, with the ocasional charity run, last of which so far this year is coming up, so motivation is a considering factor in weather or not i buy one as have always had something to aim for this year with my cycling, have been alot more consitant this year compared to last year, where i did no charity cycle, looking to join a club as well and am already looking towards some events next year so hopefully this will keep my riding up

You would be doing well to get carbon second hand in that price range TBH. ~€1,200 will get you an entry level carbon bike from the UK and if at all possible I would up the budget. You would get an aluminium bike with a carbon fork all right (from the UK.) Bianchis are not cheap, I would guess that a aluminium Bianchi with carbon seatstays would be at least as expensive as the likes of a Focus Cayo/Planet X/Ribble etc. full carbon bike. Giant have an alu/carbon bike, the Alliance, which is sometimes discounted (again at full RRP it is not so cheap.)

well, there is a slight catch, i picked mine up in spain but even for a 50 euro flight its doable.

i know that orbea are offloading all of the 2008 models cheap. i got mine with rival for 1100 but have seen shops with the 105 stuff for less.

Find an orbea dealer in IReland and ask them as they will pick you one up no problem. All orbea dealers here have this offer so it should still apply there

this is one authorised orbea dealer i found in ireland

by the way the bike is quality, a lovely ride and a steal at the price, especially with rival.

this is mine but came with mavic wheelset and sram rival complete
