    how long do you leave the bales before feeding i made them last week

    as far as I know[and I could be wrong] you can feed them any time at all from the moment they're made.
    Proper "Silaging"[whatever the word is] would take maybe 3 months

    from what i gather..you need to wait aleast 7 weeks..maybe more for 2nd cut..as it be fresher..shorter grass in general

    While they can be fed at anytime probably, the longer you wait the better. I had to house a few cattle recently; some I gave an old bale I had from last year, some I gave a new bale, a few days old. They fairly devoured the old bale but picked at and left after them some of the new one.
