    great galway full forward line

rte stats - who compiles them??

alan costello is 24 not 34, small mistake but when orourke comments on how old the sligo forwards are based on the wrong age it looks bad..

Galway's play naive says Brolly! - What a surprise! - Lets get 12 men behind the ball and kill the game!

I love that naive defending criticism - basically means your not dirty or havent tripled up on the man in possesion, body checked off the ball runs or pulled and dragged the opposition to death

    C'mon Sligo....

I think Brolly thinks that any team that doesn't copy Tyrone have 'the wrong tactics'

Sligo centre back sent off for 2 yellows. Pity.

Sligo lad got a second yellow for an over jealous tackle on Sean Armstrong.

Gary O'Donnell punched a Silgo player who was on the ground straight in front of the lines mans 2 mins later. Straight red, no arguments from anyone.

Great kick. Sligo deserve a draw out of this. I've been very disappointed with Galway since the first 20 mins.

So am I but I'm not ready to admit it yet :D

Good game overall. Bergins score at the end was crucial. Great to have experienced players like that on the team.

I am not looking forward to this Connacht Final. Galway have no midfield and our lack of control and **** defending should have cost us.

Krustywanksock will have to start on a thread wanting Sammon out :pac:

mayo defenders wont give the same space in the connaught final , the midfield battle will be interesting....

to be fair both teams didnt play great, alot of silly mistakes on both sides, sligo came back well in the 2nd half, the deserved a win

i agree, joe brolly is an absolute twat. far too critical of players, very dismissive and extremely arrogant. whereas most pundits are objective, brolly never has anything positive to say(unless it relates to northern teams). he singles players out for criticism when, like all team sports, its a collective responsibility, be it winning or losing. i think he comes across very poorly on television. rte should stick his "brolly" up his hole.

If the midfield battle is interesting then Mayo will be in trouble. It's one of the areas Mayo have the upper hand. We'll have difficulties holding Meehan, Armstrong and Joyce if we don't win midfield as any team in the country would.

I Too dislike brolly he is an arogant little ****e who looks down his nose at the other pundits and thinks hs opinion is the only opinion. No better man than Spillane to give it to him tho!
