Anybody got any info on the World Record attempt for the Biggest no of Combines working in one field due to take place near Drogheda in August ? Saw a bit on the journal weeks ago but nothing since.Anyone thinking of going?

Its going to be held near the Platin cement factory outside Duleek. Big tillage area there. Should be a good show.

Might set up a stall selling flasks of tea, hang sandwiches and custard creams

its a rediculous idea to have it on a saturday. everyone i know isn't going because they have work to do. it should be on a sunday to attract the biggest possible pull.

apparently the person from the guinness book of records couldn't do it on the sunday, and besides the saturday is our lady's day, I assume they think more families will turn up because alot more people will be off that day than any other saturday.
