I think I would like to be an accountant but not quite sure, just wondering would I be at much of a disadvantage doing finance if i wanted to be an accountant? I did not do economics for leaving cert and would like to know would that be a major disadvantage? I know I can become an accountant through finance but I dont have…

I did not do economics for leaving cert and would like to know would that be a major disadvantage? I know I can become an accountant through finance but I dont have a clue about alot of the modules in finance.

Accounting is my first choice but I may not get it as i'll be hovering somewhere about the 480 mark and i'm just wondering should I put finance or commerce as 2nd choice?
