    Hey Paul (Mr Brewer)

I know you're an admirer of Esser. He's on the Red button on BBC (if you have Sky).

Yes ! Big fan ..... combines what's going on 'now' with a nod to the past - the template of a lot of classic music.

    Cheers!

    Yes, I think he's great.

I was surprised that his album didn't chart well in the UK.

He's just done Glastonbury and is doing Lollapalooza too.

I heard him first on a session for George Lamb on BBC Radio 6 which I think was last year.

I like the whole Blur/Ska crossover thing .... the 'Whitest' of music combined with the 'Blackest' but ending up with something anything but Grey!

    Groovy Band too ....

He has some Downloadable Mixtapes too which are great.

There's one where he drops in a friends voicemails as part of it which is hilarious.

From a MP perspective he combines what's good about the Home Set-up (ideas quirkiness etc) with what's good about Pro Studios (mixing , hi-fi etc).

Some of the album was done in the Kinks 'Konk' studio.

We're working with a great guy called Ross at the moment who is in no way musically similar but 'goes at it' in the same way i.e. uses home for what 'home' is good at and the studio for what the 'studio' is good at ...
