    Hi Lori074

Even tho marquee is expensive (make sure you shop around) you can make up for it with a cheaper menu....get into talks with your caterer they will be able to discuss the bar requirements too or at least be able to give you reputable suppliers. Unfortunately weddings are expensive tho. If you want to pm for more advice.

How big a marquee do you want? There are some nice, large ones for sale at argos. They wouldn't be big enough for a sit down meal, but they would be perfect for a buffet style meal. And there are rectangular ones that might work if you put two together. The dearest is about €750, but they work out a LOT cheaper if you can buy them from Argos UK.

They don't have flooring, which is ok if you have it on solid ground or if the grass is well drained and not sodden. If it is maybe there is a way to improvise with a large roll of decent looking lino, which would still work out a lot cheaper than €9k.

It depends on exactly what you want though, a sit down meal for 100+ would need a real professional job with temporary, solid flooring. For a garden party with the Gazebo as a central focus, buffet area and gathering place in case of rain the Argos ones might do.

For drinks you could hire kegs for the day. Each 50l keg works out at about 90 pints. Some sites even have bar men to hire for the day (or you could ask a local bar worker - may work out cheaper).
