Nick in new wetsuit

Got a wetsuit today; I tried one in the shop, and a different one (same size) was packaged up for me. When I tried it on at home I noticed a nick in it (v shape and about 1cm on either side) just at the pannel joint above the knee.

I had a quick look over it before I tried it on, to make sure it was all OK and didnt notice anything, but its not obvious untill you put it on/fold that section of the neoprene. So im not sure If i did it or whether it was like that from the shop... I was really careful putting it on, pulling it up from the inside, and dont have any sharp nails or anything..

So, two questions: is this a big deal, should I bring it back on the assumption it was soiled from the shop? and as it will inevitably get damanged how do you fix these things? Should I just fix it and put up with it?

Bring it back - worst case senario is you need to fix it yourself!
