Firewall not on?

Today and yesterday when i turn on the laptop, i get a message saying "firewall not turned on, click on balloon to fix" now i thought this strange as i hadn't turned off the firewall. When i click on the baloon then it says the firewall is ON !!!!! What's going on here ???

alright that just helpful to know

mine used to do that, i didnt anything about it for ages, i just turned the fire wall off saved it then turned it back on

its no harm to your computer either way
