Lads, We're about to reseed a few acres, going spraying it in a few weeks, ground hasn't been reseeded in about 20 years, question for ye is would a power harrow be enough to break up the ground and get rid of the sod? Lads,

We're about to reseed a few acres, going spraying it in a few weeks, ground hasn't been reseeded in about 20 years, question for ye is would a power harrow be enough to break up the ground and get rid of the sod?

Also what kind of money should one pay for a second hand harrow or what is there to look out for when a fellow is looking at them?

If it hasn't been ploughed in 20 years you would be better off ploughing it.
