Have MAIP from 1 bank, should I wait for the other banks?

    Hi All
Thanks for all the previous advice.

Just looking for thoughts on the following:

We have MAIP* from ICS , still waiting for same from AIB and Ulster Bank(waiting 1 month now)

We have put in a offer for a house and are waiting word on it being accepted, hopefully will know by Monday

    IF
its accepted we will proceed further.

The issue is that the parents want us to get MAIP from the other banks before committing to a bank.

I on the other hand dont want to "hang around" .

We have maip from 1 bank , and with the banks not exactly rushing to lend to FTB and constantly reviewing lending policy and everything else, I dont want to take the risk of "losing" the maip and/or the level we have available.

I also dont want to risk any issue arising with the house if we give the impression to the EA that we are unsure of the maip etc

    what are others thoughts/opinions?

    many thanks

    * all forms such as salary certs, statements etc were submitted and all we need its proof of balancing amount which we can get immediately

MAIP usually last for up to 6 months so, as you have MAIP from one bank it is no harm to push the other banks for a responce as you might get a better deal.
