    What scrubs said sounds good.

Just make sure you're not too overbearing, and don't start madly texting the next day if she doesn't respond. If she doesn't respond, just leave it alone til she does, and if she doesn't, then just let it go.

Are you sure you want to text someone you just met while drunk? Whatever she thinks at that moment will be different in the morning when she reads the garbled message again.
Personally, I like inviting people for breakfast or lunch. This was easy in college as you could just arrange to meet a person in the canteen and it seemed perfectly natural as both of you would probably be ending up there anyway.
It isn’t like a formal date since its daylight, so both of you can relax and get to know each other in a friendly manner.

As for spending money, you’ll hear people saying that you can’t spend ANY money on a girl or she’ll think you’re trying to buy her, etc, ect.
There is no harm meeting up with a girl and buying her a coffee or something relatively inexpensive that you’ll consume or use on the spot. Just don’t go buying her a diamond ring quite yet.;)

Coffee and a stroll around a park or something

Or she could teach you how to use proper words instead of txt spk, you seem to have trouble with that;)

That's fair enough! Actually like your thinking curious guy.
Definitely text a girl to see if she got home okay, that's just a nice thing to do! Sure ask her to the rally, if it's anything like my homeplace everyone will be going anyway because it's the only thing that's happening in the area!!

oh sorry i was texting someone(herself actually) at the same time didnt mean to use text speak apologies il redo it.

Emmmm, the whole spending money thing..? you dn't wanna come across tight surely. How about walk on beach, in forest/park or whatever, followed by quick bite or drink. Sounds like a nice 'first date' to me. And as for texting: i'd say the next day after meeting her, and every 2/3 days after that until the date. just friendly texts.... if she likes you she'l want a zillion texts, if she's not so sure then she wont wanna be bombarded with texts... so if ur not sure what she thinks of you after the firfst meet up then better to keep it light til the date, and after that you'll know what's what, if you def into her and if she's into you! :)

Yeah mit have rushed the date thing alright she kinda didnt t bk so it would of been prob better to tx for a while like you and get to know each other better before organising something. Oh i know its just like its just going on a rack of dates that cost money that may lead to nothing is frustrating to be honest maybe others agree. Its like if theres a spark there doesnt mater if its a fancy restaurant and your not trying to impress like.

What is with the text speak???!!! Don't mean to sound like an old fogey but is this really what the world is coming to? Does grammar and spelling mean nothing anymore??!

As for when to text, it's simple - whenever it feels right to you. Don't over think it and don't play games. Easier in the long run. Just be yourself and act natural.

Wlel grmmmer and seplling arnt really important if the first and last letters are correct has been scientifically proven.. just showing it in start of this sentence.
When your not using predictive text its faster and your limited to so many letters in a text message plus it takes an understanding and breakdown of a word to actually do it requiring extra intelligence.
Although its not all professional and boring but still does the same job.
I agree with not having it on this however. Small bit childish i suppose.

Agree with your comment about the text to a degree but hot girls play games with us in my opinion just the way their designed.
