Just thought to see what is the safest place to keep personal finances in. I mean, the times are tough and, possibly, not all financial institutions will make it through but losing a few millions is hardly as critical for Sean Quinn as losing a few grand for Joe the Plumber. Seeing some bad examples across the pond in the UK, I'm not really looking forward to the end of next year when the Government's guarantee scheme comes to an end. So in short, who in Ireland would you trust your hard earned money?

Speculative threads not so welcome, really.
