Uh-oh iPod frozen

I did what you're not meant to do - I disconnected before ejecting iPod from cable while connected to the laptop and iPod has been in a frozen state for the last hour. Any idea on how to bring it back to life?

Hold down the menu part of the dial and the middle button for 5 seconds.
Should do the trick;)
