Iphone 3GS - technical probs O2/Itunes

    Hi folks

    I switched from Vodafone to an O2 Iphone today - got the text to say insert the new sim after which I would be texted to say I have joined the network. Inserted the sim and used the pin code provided. I didnt get the text as I have a symbol on the phone telling me to hook it up to Itunes..now the probs start

    When I do this I get the installing device driver pop up which eventually goes to :
    Device driver software was not successfully installed
    Digital Still Camera failed

    I have restarted the computer etc but still the same

    Has anyone got any ideas? Do I need the latest version of Itunes? My current is 8.0.0.36

    Wouldn't hurt to download the newest iTunes 8.2 ...You probably need it for the iPhone 3GS

    Phew that worked...it only took all night on dial up to download it but at least now I can get going on my phone

    My i phone sync'd fine yesterday today however it's talking an age to sync. I have canceled it and restarted it again and it's currently around 20 mins since it started anyone know if I need to be worried or what i can do to speed it up? thanks.
