    Hi guys just a quick one. do you know if you can hook up 3 boxes in a house by sky?

    the norm is you can have up to 4 standard boxes per connection, or 2 sky + boxes.

    so could i have 1 sky plus box and 2 standards? any idea if they charge for the 3rd one

    Since Octo LNB's have come about, you can have up to 8 ordinary boxes or up to 4 Sky+ (HD) boxes, or combination therein.

    Yeah, you can have 1 Sky+ and 2 standards if you wish.

    As for charging for the third box, I think they do.... though there might be a special half-price offer on Multiroom at the moment. Best ringing Sky or checking their site.

    im with ntl and i am currently paying 90 every two months for 2 points 1 with extra channels and 1 with basic

    do u need tv points in the wall or is it all done by wire that they install

    oh also. is the sky hd worth getting. are all the stations hd or only a few

    If the existing cables aren't suitable, they'll run their own. I'd advise being present during install to ensure they don't stick wires where you don't want them.

    Regarding SkyHD, personally, I think it's too expensive, but that's just me.

    Only a select few channels are in HD, the rest are same as what you get on normal Skybox.

    hi guys just another question. i need to get 4 boxes but 5 would be great and sky want 69 euro per box but im worried about the multiroom charges after the yr is up.

    Is there any aerials or anything like that I can even link 1 box to another? im all new to this
