Can't see him being allowed to race in the TDF any time soon. Wonder what kind stance the Giro/Classics organisers will take?

Know its old hat but really think minimum ban should be 5 years. By next season 20% of the peleton wil be "convicted" dopers!

Ceramica Flaminia don't get invited to much. He'll reallly only be racing in Italy. They weren't even invited to the Giro this year.

They are one of three italian teams actually registered as "Irish" as they are registered with cycling ireland via an address in Bray.
All very dodgy reputations. Expect then to start most Italian races and they usually get a Giro invite.
They didn't this year and that had nothing at all to do with Lance riding and Fillipo Simioni (current Italian national champ) riding for them.
I believe Riccos brother also rides for them

Why would they do that, or indeed any non Irish team register with the ICF?

One would think that CI would have the moral conscience to tell these, and any other dodgy teams to F### O## if the want to register. Or maybe CI are only after the big (€2,000?) registeration fee?

As an Irish-registered team (and business) they would be subject to Irish corporate tax laws, no?
Thats what I always assumed was the reasoning behind it.

CI tried to refuse but were advised by the UCI they could not. There is considerable discomfort at the highest levels that these teams are registered as "Irish"
