Hi All.Wife got divebombed by a swallow, so after investigation we found two beautifull swallows have made a nest in an old fishing net hanging on a cross beam in the shed.
Question's are should wehang a fat ball or nut's leave water and how much a threat will cats be.
    All help appreciated...

They're insectivores and feed on the wing, so there's not much point in putting food out for them.

Best thing is to leave them be, try not to disturb and watch for those cats.

Iirc they can make a bit of a mess, so might want to do something about more valuable items under the nest and flightpath, cover or remove.

Enjoy your new neighbours/tennants - lovely creatures.

Thank's Tricky D. did not know how they fed, and as for the cat's, our little terrier loves to give them grief!!!
