Did I hear correctly - on RTE Drivetime yesterday (Thurs 25 June, 2009 ) - some professor was reported as saying that "technical" education was not up to the mark and needed to be overhauled. I've tried to find a reference to it on the web but to no avail.

    Can anyone confirm/refute??
