Running shoe fit

I took a chance on buying a pair of shoes without trying them on and they're slightly too big but my foot doesn't really move about when I have them on. is there any major problems with shoes that are not "snug" to the foot?

you'd be amazed what you can achieve with lacing in terms of fit.
