Does anybody know where I can find out some information about the Liffey Swim and eligibility to enter it?

My girlfriend is interested in participating - she isn't a competitive swimmer but would swim about 2 km, 4 mornings a week in the pool and is a competitive sailor so would swim alot in the sea too.

She has to be registered with a swim club and swim ireland also. Plus she has to do at least 4 open sea races in order to qualify to enter the Liffey swim. Swimming in open sea is different than the pool, so the experience is needed. Some of the up and coming racing in Windsurfers pier or sandycove can be short.

One is coming up soon from Windsurfers pier which is 5k!!!
