Got a shiny new 32Gb 3GS this morning and just checked my contract.

It says it is a 12 month contract, did anyone else get a 12 month contract ?

I only had a silver upgrade so it was €299 on a €40 per month - unlimited 02 and landlines contract.

Upgrades are 12 months and new iPhone contracts are longer I believe.

So can you then just get a prepay sim and then upgrade from that, would this get you a 12 month contract?

Pretty sure it only applies to bill pay upgrades.

I think its supposed to be 18 months but some stores made mistakes by giving it out for 12 months, I upgraded my phone to iPhone 3GS on Bill pay and signed only a 12 month contract. Although the o2 system has me on as 18 months, was very upset over this and is now being look after Daryll from TalkO2.

simplybetter have you rang customer care to see how long you are actually extended until? as these are store mistakes as I have come to now believe.
