Just a question about wiring in cars. Other half owns a 1998 micra. It was broke into a while back and the people who broke in broke the passenger and boot barrels. They also tried to hot wore the car but used the indicator wires to do this. They pulled apart the wiring of the indicators.

Does anyone know how expensive a re wiring job would be I’m not a mechanic but my da is and he couldn’t fix it because he said the wiring was so messed up. If its too expensive the car would end up being a write off like…

Maybe a trip to your local breakers is worth a go.

Get the whole indicator stalk set up, simple connector block connetion

onto the ignition loom. Off the same type model.

Might save all the hassle with re-wiring the original.

Mrs used to own a Starlet, so know the feeling.

Pestered with young fella's trying to rob it. Bought a total wheel

lock that covered the whole steering wheel, that did the trick.

Hope you manage to get it sorted.
