    Have arts down and was wonderin a couple of things like hours a week, what are the assignments like is it an essay a week or something similar......accomodation - if your goin off campus is it better to know who your movin in with or is it usually ok if its with strangers i dont mind like so long as they're in college too

    You'll probably have approximately 20 hours a week, depends on your subject choices though, I didn't pick Arts myself but there were a lot of arts students in my lectures. I couldn't tell what your subjects will be like regarding assignments and such. Check out the relevant information on the NUI website i.e. course and lecturer web pages.

    Accommodation- go for student accommodation in first year, I was in Corrib Village myself, fairly bog standard living arrangements but the chances are you'll have a great time. Get a house with people you know from second year onwards, but the student accommodation is definitely an experience!

    Maybe join http://boards.sin.ie/ and ask the same question there, you'll get a proper answer from them at least!
