garden infested by greenfly - no plants!

    Hi,

I hope you can help. Over the past 3 days my garden has been infested with greenfly. Now, when I say 'garden' I don't have any plants whatsoever. Its decking and pebbles. Our neighbours on either side are the same, no trees, plants or flowers - just decking and paving.

Any ideas about what I can do to get rid of them? I've googled and there's lots of ways to get them off plants etc but not for getting them out of a general area. I thought with the rain today it might clear them but alas they are out there swarming around :(
