IPPT June League, First pictures of Qualifiers from Co,Laois (Good Luck)

It was exciting poker Wednesday night, there was a lot to play for as we got nearer to the first qualifiers of the IPPT league, and just to cause some s**t, i decided to put a spanner in the works, i gave the top 6 players red caps so that they could be easy recognized (marked men/women sort of speak) and i offered a drink at the bar to anyone who could take them out before the final table, well things just crazy after this, players with no points made things so hard for everyone, as we got to the final table, players were nerves, specters were excited and every time someone got knocked out there was a quick check on the leader board, three people at the final table had no points but they played to win, win noting (except scalps), there was some sad faces as players could not get high enough on the leader board and happy faces when they were staying at the top and not getting bumped down, all in all, it was a great night.
Next week they are all looking forward to coming back to play in my new league called “Easy League Poker”, which will go on for ten weeks leading up to a grand final on the 6th of September.
Anyway, here is the first qualifiers of the IPPT league from The Barrow Lodge, Portarlington, congrats to them and i wish them the best of luck for the Grand Final, i will see them all on the 25th of July in the Fitzwilliam in Dublin.

Congrats to Tim Crowley on winning the watch and pen set (thanks to Cristy Smith), who out kicked Dave Ryan's quad kings Wednesday night with the ten of spades.

well paddy thats it and i have to say it was great crack even though i did'nt go through i had a blast. Lookin forward to the next one if there is one..will there be??? this easy league poker seems to be interesting. i might see you there sound bud take it squeezy.:P
