Borrow Bike Box for next weekend?

    As usual for me I have left getting a bike box a bit late for the Marmotte. Leaving next Friday so would have to pack the bike up Thursday- with how my orders have been going from PBK/CRC/Wiggle lately I doubt it would arrive on time if I buy now.

    So here I am begging for a loan of a box. Ideally looking for something with a hard shell; my wheels have carbon spokes with a tendency to explode and I don't want any chance they might be weakened on the way over :)

    I would just need the box for the weekend, from next Thursday (2 July), returning on the Tuesday (7 July.)

    Cyclesuperstore and Wheelworx rent them, if you can't get a loan.

    They do. But I wouldnt hang about getting in touch with them. Theres alot of Irish out and about through Europe over the first two weeks of July. IM Germany and IM Austria combined with the Marmotte will see alot of very expensive carbon in the air.

    I think Stagg's in Lucan rent boxes as well.

    I'm going to take a chance with my soft bag, but wouldn't if I had a more expensive bike.
