Multimedia Drive

    My seagate harddrive went bust a while back so im on the lookout for a new external harddrive. i was thinking about getting a multimedia drive.

    Are multimedia drives worth it or should i just get and external harddrive?
    i used to hook up my laptop and hardrive to the tv using a hdmi cable
    so i thought that a multimedia drive might be handier.
    Are they more bulky than regular hardrive?

    I need a tb of space. would anyone be able to suggest some other quality ones?
