Fridge red light

Hi I have a hotpoint fridge freezer RFS60. The problem is it was defrosted a week ago but there is a red light staying on. It says over the light freezer high temperature. But the freezer seems to be working ok. What would be the cause of this. Its a fairly new fridge. Really appreciate any answers in advance. Thanks
