When do Grants begin to be approved

Hey Folks!

I'm looking to go back to education and have received notification I have got a post grad place in a course.

The course is covered by grant and I am a mature (dependent) candidate who received a grant for my undergrad studies (approx 7 yrs ago)

I have all the documentation together (minus the forms which as of yet have not been released) so I will be able to apply early.

Does anyone have an idea of when (roughly) the grants get approved?
I just want to make a timeline for myself of things I need to sort out once I know for sure!
