What's it like getting onto the Luas at Dundrum (heading into town) in the mornings, say 7.30am to 8.am ish? I know it's a tight squeeze at stations closer to town, but is Dundrum okay?

And what about when the Cherrywood extension opens in 2010. Presumably it'll get worse...?

There seem to be plenty of apartments to rent in Dundrum, but not much use if you want get onto the Luas to get to work!

I presume it will be worse when the extension opens. It is usually quite busy, I travel in the opposite direction at that time and usually see quite a lot waiting in Balally and Dundrum going to town.

Presumably when the Cherrywood extension opens extra trams will start from Sandyford?

Dundrum is usually ok at that time. Milltown seems to be the most difficult.

even at dundrum its touch and go as to whether you can get on at peak time
I doubt it will get better when the extension opens.

Woe betide the decision to use low capacity urban area street trams when a Dart style heavier rail may have been better.

Yup, I think there are going to be trams starting at Cherrywood and Sandyford... means down at Dundrum etc there will be a much greater frequency actually.

What's it like getting on at Dundrum / Ballally at peak time in the mornings these days (heading towards town)?
