Mod functions not working

I've logged on about 30min ago and so far about half of the time I try to use one of the drop down move function I get sent to "you do not have permission" page. odd. Any ideas?

Any ideas?

The slave database (which handles a lot of the moderating functions) was lagging behind the master. I was working to bring it up to date at the time which may have explained some of the issues.
